Civil cases for both plaintiffs and defendants include general personal injury, employment discrimination, general commercial torts, unfair business practices, landlord-tenant, real estate brokers, insurance brokers, general real estate, insurance bad faith, fraud, legal malpractice, construction, general contract, partnership dissolution, and securities fraud class actions.

Criminal cases include the Chowchilla school bus kidnapping case, homicides, and the general run of criminal defenses, such as rape, robbery, receiving stolen property, bookmaking, narcotics, and white collar crimes.
